Maple Apple, Blue Cheese and Bacon Flatbread
- Preheat oven to 475°F.
- Place the sliced apples in a small bowl and toss with maple syrup. Set aside.
- If using a pre-made crust, skip to the next step. If using fresh pizza dough, divide the dough into 4 sections. Stretch the dough and place on a small baking sheet, working the dough into a rectangle. If the dough springs back, let it rest for a few minutes then continue to spread it into the corners of the baking sheet.
- Layer the crust with half of the mozzarella cheese, slices of apple, half of the bacon, garlic cloves, and finish with chunks of blue cheese.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden. Drizzle with additional maple syrup. Slice and serve immediately.
