Apple Cider Doughnuts

Created by Earth’s Own and made with Earth’s Own Almond Unsweetened Original and Earth’s Own Dairy Free Butter.

Doughnut worry, we’ve got a delish as-heck dessert that is so a-glaze-ing, it will totally become the apple of your eye! Ok… enough with the bad puns—who else is in the mood for some apple cider doughnuts.

Apple Cider Doughnuts

Serves 6 | 1 hour

Directions:

  1. Add apple cider to a pot over high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium and simmer until reduced to ½ cup—about 15–20 minutes. Let cool.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F and get to work on your batter! Mix all the doughnut ingredients together, except the flour, until well-combined. Slowly mix in a little flour a little at a time until combined and you end up with a thick batter. Don’t worry, that’s what we want!
  3. Grease your doughnut pan. Divide batter evenly between doughnut cups. Bake for 15 minutes. Let cool to room temperature before glazing.
  4. Now it’s time for the glaze! Whisk all the glaze ingredients together in a bowl big enough to dip, and get to glazin’.
  5. You can also top with a simple dusting of powdered sugar.
