Corporate Purchaser & Administrator – Health, Beauty & Wellness

This position oversees our Health and Beauty Aids (HABA) departments, lists related products, meets with vendors, and coordinates sales and promotions. This includes visiting stores to coordinate training, discuss sales & sales techniques, promotions, develop successful strategies, seek out popular products and offer merchandising tips. Also responsible for providing ideas and insight regarding overall department appearance, efficiency, and profitability of the HABA Department. Supplement administration duties include listing & delisting and other product maintenance related tasks. The Corporate Purchaser & Administrator reports directly to the Assistant Director of Purchasing.


· Responsible developing and managing category management systems and processes related to health, beauty, and supplements, including identifying market and sales trends, analyzing key performance metrics, and developing strategies for profit growth
· Collaborate with marketing department and store managers to develop a standardized approach to merchandising across all locations
· Responsible coordinating and assisting the Retail Operations team, Store Managers and Department Managers to see that all chosen programs for customer retention, promotion, customer service are executed well in each store
· Evaluate new and existing products regularly to ensure they meet our ingredient standards and make recommendations on which products to bring in to our store and which products to discontinue
· Establish and maintain positive relationships with brokers and distributors, gathering information on new products, product changes, and promotions
· Oversee information related to health, beauty and supplements in regular flyer distribution
· Administration related to health, beauty, and supplements programs, initiatives, and responsibilities
· Other duties related to this position may be assigned as necessary

· Education in a related field and/or previous experience in HABA & Wellness department
· Background in cosmetic buying/selling
· Strong computer skills and MS Office proficiency especially Excel
· Excellent organizational skills
· Excellent leadership skills
· Passion for natural and organic products
· Advanced knowledge of HABA products including what ingredients are acceptable to meet our standards
