Low Blood Pressure
Also known as “Hypotension”. Is generally not something to worry about. Often caused by standing too quickly or blood loss as in an accident. In older people LBP is sometimes the result of the heart dropping in efficiency to supply the brain with enough blood, especially with meals. In younger people LBP is usually considered a sign of good health.
Symptoms May Include:
- Fainting
- Fatigue
- Weakness (feeling weak)
- Possibly nausea
- Sweating
- Fever / Chills
- Restlessness preceding a loss in consciousness
