Kidney Stones
Kidney stones are the result of an accumulation of mineral salts that often get stuck along the urinary tract. The crystals often clump together forming stones that may restrict urinary flow and become very painful. Mostly affecting men, kidney stones often re-occur within the first 8 years of an attack. Stones can range from smooth to jagged and from the size of a speck to a fingertip. Most common: calcium stones.
Symptoms May Include:
- Pain radiating from upper back to lower abdomen & groin
- Profuse sweating
- Frequent urination
- Pus & blood in the urine
- Odorous or cloudy urine
- Inability to urinate
- Nausea & vomiting
- Chills & fever
- May mimic a bad stomach flu
