Diabetes
Type I Diabetes: Juvenile diabetes or insulin dependent diabetes. Insulin needs to be injected and is not curable at this time.
Type II Diabetes: Pancreas is working, but the insulin producing cells are not producing sufficient amount of insulin. Insulin releasing/production is somewhat slowed down. Body cells are resistant to insulin. Treatable with weight management and diet. Often a result of obesity.
Symptoms May Include:
- Episodes: high & low blood sugar
- Fatigue
- Constant need to urinate
- Extreme thirst
- Constant feeling of hunger
- Loss of weight
- Problems with eyesight
- Dizziness & confusion
- Palpitations
- Numbness / tingling in the lips
