Bronchitis
Bronchitis is an inflammation or obstruction of the bronchial tubes that can make it hard to breath and may cause damage to the airway tissues & tubes. Acute Bronchitis: caused by infection & follows symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection of influenza; will clear in weeks if treated properly. Chronic Bronchitis: the result of frequent irritation to the lungs from toxins (i.e. smoking) or allergies. Reduces the lungs ability to breathe causing heart strain.
Symptoms May Include:
- Inflammation of bronchial tubes
- Difficulty breathing
- A buildup of mucus in lungs
- Coughing
- Fever
- Pain in chest
- Fatigue
- Sore throat
- Sudden chills / shaking
