Brilliant Brains Book Club

Books open worlds of knowledge and adventure, especially for kids, and that’s why we’re so pleased
to tell you about—and invite your partnership in—the Nature’s Fare Markets’ Brilliant Brains Book Club.
Brilliant Brains was created to encourage children to enjoy all the pleasures and benefits of reading—and is just one of the ways Nature’s Fare Markets works to support healthy lifestyles for people who
live in our communities.

Participation and encouragement by the whole class can teach a child to build a reading
habit that they’ll enjoy and benefit from all their lives.
We hope your class will join us this year. Here’s how it works:

• Brilliant Brains runs from September to June for pre-school through grade 7.
• At the start of each month, teachers give each student a new Reading Record bookmark.
• Students are encouraged to read at their own level for just 20 minutes a day, 5 days a week.
• Students track their progress by colouring in a star on their bookmark.
• At the end of each month, students bring their completed bookmarks into Nature’s Fare Markets to receive a healthy treat of their choice (up to a $5 value).
• Each completed bookmark is entered into a grand prize draw for a new bike! At the end of the school year, one grand prize winner is drawn from participating schools, for each Nature’s Fare Markets store.

Enrollment takes just a few minutes by filling out the below application form. Upon receipt of the application, you will receive a Brilliant Brain Package by email. Bookmarks will be available for pickup, from any Nature’s Fare Market Store Manager.
